New to General Management – Welcome Elisabeth Freyhoff!

We are delighted to welcome the German-Georgian soprano Elisabeth Freyhoff to the General Management team.

She will next appear in the role of Helena in Benjamin Britten’s opera A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The premiere takes place on 11 April, with further performances on 16 April and 24 April. Golo Berg will conduct, and Cordula Däuper is directing.

Since the 2024/25 season, Elisabeth Freyhoff has also been a member of the opera studio at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, where this season she can be seen in operas including Hänsel und Gretel, Nabucco, Parsifal and, for the first time, as Clorinda in Cenerentola.
