Cindy Dodaro

Cindy Dodaro was born in Italy, grew up in Berlin and has been closely connected to the cultural landscape since childhood. Through her early singing experience with the children’s and youth choir of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, she developed a profound understanding of artistic processes within the opera world. After studying Theatre Studies at Freie Universität Berlin, she worked freelance as a stage manager, production manager, and assistant director for various opera and music theatre productions in Berlin, Munich, Bayreuth and Potsdam, and within the festival scene. In 2024, Cindy Dodaro joined the Artistic Administration Office of Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she further expanded her strengths in organization, networking, communication, and coordination. Having grown up in a multilingual environment with Italian and Chinese culture, she also brings strong intercultural competence and communication skills, combining extensive practical experience with a deep passion for the world of opera.
