Attilio Cremonesi brings a reimagined Dido & Aeneas to Pisa and Livorno

Conductor Attilio Cremonesi leads a new production of Henry Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas, premiering in Pisa on 23 October 2026. The production, musically edited by Cremonesi himself, features a newly reimagined prologue incorporating additional music and dances by Purcell, offering a fresh perspective on the Baroque masterpiece.

Following its premiere, the production returns for a second performance in Pisa on 25 October before continuing to Livorno for two performances in November.
