Biography

The american Tenor Garrett Evers completed both Bachelor and Masters studies at The Florida State University. This season 2025/26 he joined the ensemble of the Staatstheater Meiningen and made his european, house and role debut as Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni). Other role debuts in this season at the Staatstheater Meiningen included Rodolfo (La bohème), Edwin (Die Csárdásfürstin), Cassio (Otello), Araspe (Didone Abbandonata), Walther von der Vogelweide (Tannhäuser), and Froh (Das Rheingold).

Garrett Evers was member of development programs including Mascarade Opera, Emerging Artist Program, The Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Program for Singers, and the Palm Beach Opera Apprentice Artist Program. While at Mascarade Opera Garrett was proudly named a Maria Manetti Shrem Artist. While an Apprentice at The Santa Fe Opera Summer 2024, he performed the roles of Gastone (La traviata) and Kellner Einz (Die Rosenkavalier). During the 2024 Palm Beach Opera season, he sang the roles of Nathanäel and Spalanzani (Les contes d’Hoffmann). While in University Garrett performed the roles of Rodolfo (La bohème), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Mitch (A Streetcar Named Desire), and Bénédict (Béatrice & Bénédict).

In the next season 2026/27 Garrett Evers will make his role debut as Tito (La clemenza di Tito), Fenton (Falstaff) and Don Gomez (Henry VIII by Saint-Saens) at the Staatstheater Meiningen.
