The Bayreuth Festival is just around the corner – which means lots of great opera experiences. One of them is Marina Prudenskaya as Waltraute in Götterdämmerung under the baton of Marek Janowski (Stage director: Frank Castorf). Performance dates: August 3rd/13th and 28th.
Following the festivities on the green hill, Ms. Prudenskaya will travel to the States, where she will sing the part of Amneris in Verdi’s Aida at the Washington National Opera. The production is a new co-production with San Francisco Opera, Seattle Opera and Minnesota Opera, marking the first staging of Verdi’s masterpiece at the WNO in more than 25 years. Performances on: September 10th/15th/17th and 21st.
Marina Prudenskaya will perform the same role in South America when she goes on stage at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago de Chile alongside e.g. Vitaliy Bilyy in November. Performances: November 4th/9th/11th and 14th.
